Lead-free defect guide set for Nepcon launch

Guide will feature many of the common and less obvious defects seen during the introduction of lead-free products to the market.

SMART Group is producing an A5 colour "Lead-free defect guide" to be launched at Nepcon Electronics in May.

The guide will feature many of the common and less obvious defects seen during the introduction of lead-free products to the market.

It will feature defects associated with components, printed circuit boards, design, materials, assembly and rework.

It will also include some of the issues which may be seen on field returns.

The guide will be distributed free of charge to visitors to Nepcon Electronics.

This is a must-have guide for all engineers, which will be available from Stand L60 at Nepcon.
