Lead-free defect guide is updated
Compilation of defects is designed to help managers, designers, engineers and operatives to solve everyday problems and to let them troubleshoot effectively and efficiently.
The SMART Group has published its second "Lead-free defect guide" and will be distributing copies free of charge from Stand H29 at National Electronics Week.
The group has been at the heart of disseminating information regarding the diverse research and development needed to implement the change to lead-free soldering.
The guide has been compiled using the knowledge and feedback that the organisation has built up through seminars, the European Leadout project and correspondence on its smart-e-link e-mail forum.
This second lead-free guide is a compilation of defects designed to help managers, designers, engineers and operatives to solve these everyday problems and to let them troubleshoot effectively and efficiently.
Copies of the guide can be obtained at the UK's National Electronics week and also at future SMART Group events.
