Summit Design has opened a new office in San Jose, California.

Summit Design has opened a new office in San Jose, California.

This office will provide sales and technical support for its West Coast customer deployments and will serve as a base for the company's North American ESL expansion plans.

"As a result of the growing demand for ESL solutions, and our large and growing installed base in the region, we are committed to investing in the organisational infrastructure required to support an enhanced nationwide presence", said Fred Stones, Summit Design's VP of North American Operations.

"We are pleased to be able to offer our industry leading SystemC-based ESL solutions to this market, while also providing our long-standing customers with continuing support".

"This expansion of our ESL reach will provide greater access for our customers along with improved local support", said Guy Moshe, CEO and President of Summit Design.
