Cabling catalogue in paper and online

A Siemon UK product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Feb 19, 2007

Siemon announces the release of a new system-based structured cabling catalogue.

Siemon has brought out a new system-based structured-cabling catalogue.

Available free, the catalogue arranges Siemon products into their appropriate systems to simplify the process of selecting an end-to-end cabling infrastructure.

This new format represents the key products in each of Siemon's high performance systems and includes the same in-depth product information and specifications.

It has also been condensed to help users identify the critical products needed for an end-to end system quickly and efficiently.

The catalogue includes all key systems currently available in the market: Category7/Class F TERA - a high-performance twisted-pair cabling system, 10G 6AT F/UTP and UTP, the MapITT intelligent infrastructure management solution in copper and fibre, 10Gbit/s and 1Gbit/s fibre optic cable, connectivity and cable management, System 6 and Premium 5e.

For those designing or specifying a new system the catalogue gives example cabling designs with typical suggestions for TERA, F/UTP, Fibre and UTP.

Details are also given of Siemon's range of services and installer programmes.

In parallel, Siemon has launched a new and extensive e-catalogue which is part of its new website.

It is searchable in system format or by product groups and has a quick view summary to allow the features of differing systems to be easily compared.

Comprehensive information and pictures are available plus downloads of specification sheets.

This is available from the company's website, and is regularly updated with latest product content.

The new website also holds a comprehensive library of white papers on a range of industry topics and a real world guide to Category 7 including articles and case studies.
