SMSC has unveiled its new global brand identity, including a new corporate logo, tagline and website design.

"SMSC's mission is to be an essential ingredient that fuels our customers' success", says Steven J Bilodeau, SMSC President and Chief Executive Officer.

"We deliver a growing array of innovative analogue, digital and mixed-signal semiconductor system solutions that are vital to speeding our customers' products to market".

"Known for our talent, resources and a passion for creating extraordinary results, many of the most successful global technology companies rely on SMSC as their go-to resource from concept to manufacturing".

"We have invested heavily in reshaping SMSC during the downturn and now is the right time to renew our corporate image as we work to gain greater awareness of the significant accomplishments we are producing", said Bilodeau.

"Our new SMSC logo is aligned with our being the right fit for our customers' needs".

"Our new tagline - 'Success by design' - highlights a culture that is deliberate in the manner in which we are ensuring success for customers, investors, suppliers, partners and employees".

SMSC is placing a new emphasis on building awareness through its communications, particularly as it emerges from the recent historic semiconductor downturn as a stronger and more competitive supplier.

Demonstrating this strength, for its fiscal year ended 29th February 2004 SMSC reported record annual semiconductor product revenues, up 24% from fiscal 2003.
