Standard Radio Telecom offers the SRT Appello GPS, a dual-band GSM/GPRS and 12 channel parallel receiver module designed for easy integration by OEMs and system integrators.

Standard Radio Telecom offers the SRT Appello GPS, a dual-band GSM/GPRS and 12 channel parallel receiver module designed for easy integration by OEMs and system integrators With dimensions of 70 x 35.5 x 13.5mm and dual mounting option, the new SRT Appello GPS can be easily integrated into various GPS positioning applications

SRT Appello GPS designed for M2M, telematics, mobile telephony and telemetry applications, can handle voice, data, fax and SMS transmission.

The GPS is controlled by the GSM module and can be remotely controlled with SMS messages.

In autonomous mode the position can be returned upon demand via SMS.

The module provides continuous tracking and navigation down to signal level of -145dBm with stated cold/warm/hot start times of 50/35/12s, respectively, and 1s for quick-start.

It supports standard NMEA-0183 V3.0 and proprietary iTalk binary protocol.

Other features include low power consumption, maximum embedding flexibility, and 8Mbit of onboard volatile memory.
