The quad ProSLIC products offer high channel density and an extensive feature set in the industry's smallest footprint allowing one hardware design to be deployed worldwide in enterprise and central office telecommunications applications.
The Si324x can increase the number of channels on a line card by 50% and reduce the cost per channel by 20% for globally programmable solutions.
Silicon Laboratories' fully programmable SLIC parameters allow global compliance through on-chip functions such as 2.5V RMS pulse metering, silent polarity reversal, GR-909 diagnostics, DTMF generation/decoding, FSK caller ID generation and modem tone detection while also eliminating external DSP requirements.
The new devices are ADSL friendly enabling maximum performance and lower cost board design for integrated voice and data (IVD) services over DSL.

Silicon Laboratories' Si3241 and Si3245 support internal ringing up to -150V and external ringing, respectively.
The devices have the industry's highest PCB density at 0.5in2 per port resulting in a lower solution cost per port.
The quad ProSLIC devices provide high integration while consuming low power.
Samples of the new Si3241 and Si3245 ProSLIC devices are available now in 100-pin TQFPs.
Pricing begins at $9.99 in 10,000-unit quantities.
Silicon Laboratories' products are available in lead-free, environmentally friendly packages.
