MagLev fans are used to provide silent cooling in the Digital Sound Projector, a high-end single loudspeaker panel with eight independent channels of sound.

The Digital Sound Projector (DSP) is a high-end single loudspeaker panel with eight independent channels of sound.

Practically as compact as a flat screen, it was designed to be used in home theatres, installed sound and public address systems as well as conventional hi-fi.

The DSP is easy to install, requiring only a power line, and is easily configurable for different room geometries.

It connects directly to the DVD player and TV screen, with no amplifiers required.

Sunon cooling fans play a key role in achieving the top-notch DSP sound.

This is because they were designed from the ground up to be used with digital devices such as laptops, digital audio and video systems etc.

DSP uses patented MagLev motor technology.

Using the attraction of the magnetic levitation principle, the fan impeller is suspended in air during rotation so that the shaft and bearing do not come into direct contact with each other to create friction, thus avoiding the creation of mechanical noises which would diminish the quality of the digital sound.
