Snaptec Australia has expanded its proven GB series of DC/DC encapsulated convertors with units rated at 30 and 60W The GB series DC/DC convertors are highly integrated devices, with numerous combinations of various input and output voltages, input voltage for 12 to 110V DC and output voltage from 5 to 48V DC

These units are designed for stand-alone applications.

The GB units are encapsulated into an aluminium U-channel as the heatsink surface for the convertor.

Using the latest planar magnetic and high integration ceramic technology, the unit's footprint measures only 65 x 100mm, with the total height of 18mm.

Mounting centres are on 59 x 70mm corners.

Input and output to the units are screw terminal blocks.

A green LED indicates the presence of output voltage.

Output voltage trimming can be made via an adjustment pot located on the output side of the module.

Maximum operating ambient temperature of the unit is 55C without derating (45C for 5V model).

The maximum surface temperature rise of the heatsink would be around 45C (55C for 5V model) above ambient.

With thousand of units installed in various locations in Australia and throughout the world the GB series has proved to be a reliable performer.
