"We chose Socket's Bluetooth card for the pilot programme because Socket was able to demonstrate the maturity of its Bluetooth technology and compatibility with Bluetooth-enabled GSM and GPRS mobile handsets", said Markku Lamminluoto, director in Sonera Mspace.

Socket will offer the kit through normal distribution channels for a suggested retail price of US$179.
