The MUR range of ultrafast rectifiers from Solid State Supplies have been specifically designed to provide optimised performance of forward voltage drop with a reverse recovery time of 25ns Intended for use in the output rectification stage of SMPS, UPS and DC/DC convertors as well as freewheeling diodes in low voltage inverters and chopper motor drivers, the MUR range benefits from a planar structure combined with platinum doped life time control to provide the rectifiers with rugged reliability
The stored charge and low recovery current reduce switching losses and overdissipation in the switching element and snubbers to the minimum.
Available in TO-220, TO-247 and surface mount packages, with both single-chip and common-cathode configuration, the MUR series has an operating temperature of -65 to +175C.
