The company has distributed Teccor telecommunication protection devices since 1997, and the latest move follows the recent acquisition of Teccor by Littelfuse.

The inclusion of Littelfuse brings the most comprehensive range of circuit protection technology into the Paddock Wood specialist distributor's portfolio and includes metal oxide varistors, miniature, subminiature and surface mount fuses and Semitron TVSs, power Zener diodes and GDTs.

Teccor Electronics produces the Sidactor, the preferred protection solution for lightning or power crossevents in the telecomms industry.

Sidactors combined with PTC devices form the basis of a range of overvoltage and overcurrent self-resetting modules.
