Designed to keep the air moving in a confined space, the new ODB5009 blower from Solid State Supplies is only 50mm square and 9mm deep yet moves air at 1.4 litre/s.
Designed to provide directional airflow the device is ideally suited to spot cooling applications.
Using a brushless DC motor with locked rotor protection and a speed of 5000rev/min, the blower is polarity protected and features auto-restart.
The lightweight unit has a life expectancy of 60,000 hours and an operating temperature of -10 to +70C.
Offering two supply options of 5 and 12V DC, the module has a dielectric strength of 500V AC with a maximum leakage of 10Mohm.
Blowers with a sleeve bearing are also available.
