As part of its aggressive expansion plan, Solid State Supplies has started 2007 with a new franchise for Pulse Engineering.
Pulse has been busy itself acquiring other companies in the power and signal market, making an even wider range of products available to Solid State's customers.
The acquisition of some Radiall/Larsen assets included a portfolio of more than 2000 antennas for wireless terminal and infrastructure equipment, along with antenna cables, mounts and accessories.
"Although we are best known as a semiconductor supplier", commented John Macmichael, Solid State's Commercial Director, "this new alliance strengthens our position with our existing customers by providing them with the inductors, chokes, splitters, filters, delay lines and antennas they need in their power conversion, Ethernet/PoE/VoIP, DSL/HPN/cable, Fibre Channel, T1, T3, ISDN and wireless applications".
