In an effort to assist with the disaster relief for the many displaced victims of hurricane Katrina, Solar Technologies has donated an unspecified amount of money to the American Red Cross.
In addition, Solar is also planning on encouraging a company wide blood donation to the American Red Cross in the coming weeks so that employees also have the opportunity to contribute on a personal level.
"Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone that has suffered from this catastrophic hurricane".
"We hope and pray for safe and full recovery for all those affected".
"As a company, and fellow mankind, we wanted to do our part to lend our help to those who need our help the most", states George S Lim, Chief Executive Officer for Solar Technologies.
"And we will continue to take part in this campaign".
"Solar wishes to express their sincerest heart felt thoughts and prayers towards the millions of people affected by the devastation caused by hurricane Katrina and the ensuing aftermath", adds Jeff Kemp, Marketing Manager at Solar Technologies.
"We decided to make this donation announcement public in hopes that other commercial enterprises might follow suit if they haven't responded in kind already".
"In fact, we hope that every individual will contribute and get involved to whatever degree they are able help".
