Moscioni joins Southampton Photonics

With 28 years of experience at Lucent Technologies and AT and T, Moscioni brings to Southampton Photonics extensive expertise in managing and selling cutting-edge telecommunications equipment.

"He brings enormous experience in selling and marketing complex optical networking products to the telecommunications industry, growing and managing large sales teams, and understanding the business and technical requirements of our customers".

Moscioni will head Southampton Photonics global sales effort with a primary focus on building a sales team to support the company's customer base in North America and Europe.

He will also be responsible for building the infrastructure to support the sales process, drawing on his experience in managing sales of over $1 billion a year in large global organisations.

Prior to Southampton Photonics Moscioni has over 28 years of sales, product marketing, and engineering experience at Lucent Technologies and AT and T.

His most recent position was at Lucent as Sales Vice President to Sprint, where he was responsible for over $1 billion in direct sales to Sprint and led a large, multidisciplined organisation of sales, technical and customer service professionals.

Prior to that Moscioni was responsible for a team of over 1000 business professionals as Vice President of Lucent's Professional Services Business Unit.
