A new configurable voice and fax over IP solution is designed to provide core functionality for quick and focused development of voice-over-packet applications.

Spirit has developed a configurable voice and fax over IP solution designed to provide core functionality for quick and focused development of voice-over-packet applications.

Spirit's voice and fax over IP solution is a complete software bundle with unified interface, which integrates all DSP building blocks necessary for designing a complete VoIP solution thus allowing system designers to concentrate their efforts on rapid product development.

Spirit's Voice+Fax over IP significantly shortens time-to-market and development costs by providing all configurable building blocks necessary for designing a complete VoIP solution.

The software package integrates speech compression algorithms (G.723.1, G.729AB, G.711, and G.726), T.38 fax relay, echo cancellation (G.168-2000), UMTD, jitter buffer, VAD/CNG, tone rejection and other configurable building blocks.

Spirit's Voice+Fax over IP software solution is configurable for various applications, such as VoIP media gateways, IP PBXs, IP phones, IP-enabled fax machines and fax IP servers.

Spirit's Voice+Fax over IP software package is available in the form of object codes for Texas Instruments' C54x, C54CST, C55x, and also as DLLs for MS Windows.
