High-voltage expansion in Japan
A new larger Japanese facility in Toda City will enable Spellman to support its growing customer base in Japan and the Asian market.
Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corp has moved its Japanese operations to a larger facility in Toda City, Saitama Prefecture.
This move will enable Spellman to support its growing customer base in Japan and the Asian market.
The relocation represents an increase in floor space of nearly 70%.
Spellman's new 630m2 facility includes 347m2 dedicated to engineering resources, including 11 high-voltage test cages.
Spellman's Japanese office was established 13 years ago, and has grown to become a major hub of Spellman's Asian and Pacific Rim activities.
15 dedicated employees provide sales, engineering, repair, and logistical services.
According to Eric Marko, Vice President of Sales, who is also responsible for the Japanese office, this move "represents Spellman's commitment to provide world-class support to our Japanese and Asian customers".
"I am very proud of the team in Japan".
"They have managed our growth well, and with their new facility, they are ready for the challenge of future expansion".
