Spirent Communications has announced the launch of the Spirent GSS6300 multi-GNSS signal generator.

The GSS6300 is designed for high-volume production test applications for devices that use commercial GPS/SBAS, Glonass and/or Galileo receivers.

The system provides a comprehensive remote control interface, allowing integration into Automated Test Equipment (ATE) environments.

'The GSS6300 is an evolution of the familiar Spirent GSS6100 single-channel GPS/SBAS production-test system,' said Steve Hickling, product manager with Spirent's Positioning Technology division.

The test approach can be configured to reduce test time per device, and the in-rack calibration to decrease downtime and disruption.

The system can be upgraded from a single constellation of GPS/SBAS to two or three constellation systems that include Glonass and/or Galileo.
