The HA 2200 series of high-voltage flash testers is supplied in a 19in/4HU case and equipped with a fully electronic high-voltage generator.

The HA 2200 series of high-voltage flash testers is supplied in a 19in/4HU case and equipped with a fully electronic high-voltage generator Modern electronics gives a high-voltage source of up to 5000V AC, with a capacity of 500VA at 230V 50 Hz or 115V 60Hz

The option of DC voltage up to 6000V (electronic source generated by 400Hz leading to very low values of ripple) can also be supplied.

The high-voltage output is potential free and with additional safety devices fitted, the tester meets the EN50191 safety standard (Erection and operation of electrical test equipment).

The testers can be used with a test fixture, in a test system or with test probes, one of which contains a switch to apply the test, so there is no need for a footswitch.

The technical specification for this range of flash testers will meet most relevant standards (BS, EN, IEC, UL, VDE etc.).

The HA2200 range comes equipped with programmable ramp function, 100 test programs, visual and audible alarm, dwell timer (0.1 - 99.9s), burn-out function, 4 x 20 LCD, internal clock/calendar, RS232 interface (printer/remote control) and a 24V DC control interface for OEM systems applications.

The RS232 interface can be used with commercially supplied software products such as LabView.

Options include: DC insulation resistance measurement; arc evaluation; four-wire measurement; active current measurement; Windows software for setting up programs and logging test results; an IEEE interface; rear-panel output connections; a status beacon (required if complying with EN50191); and an upgrade to 7500V AC/DC.
