A LabView driver for the UltraFast range of PCI cards supports all the cards' features, including the ability to stream signal data at up to 200Mbyte/s.

Strategic Test Corp has a LabView driver for the UltraFast range of digitiser, arbitrary waveform generator and high-speed digital I/O PCI cards The driver supports all of the card's features including the ability to stream signal data at up to 200Mbyte/s enabling long signals to be recorded or generated at high speed

The LabView driver is based on the standard UltraFast Windows driver and thus automatically will benefit from new features added through future Windows driver updates.

The driver consists of a set of LabView libraries and a special DLL that is optimised for fast and easy data management.

To encourage rapid application development, a wide range of examples is also provided each showing different operational modes of the cards.

These include a soft scope, long term data acquisition, an online signal generator and an example that demonstrates the addressing of up to 4Gbyte onboard card memory.

The special data handling DLL provided with the LabView driver makes data access very easy.

Data can be read out as raw data, sorted and normalised as 16bit integer or even completely recalculated to voltage values.

The UltraFast LabView driver is available immediately and priced at US $390.

It is compatible with all LabView versions from 6.1 and later.
