Digital I/O boards speed to express
performance
High-speed PCI Express digital I/O boards allow the creation of large mixed-mode automated test systems for electronic subassemblies and digital semiconductor components.
Strategic Test reckons its latest offerings are the industry's fastest digital input/output boards for PCI Express The new boards come with up to 32 channels, recording or replay rates to 125MHz and the possibility to synchronise up to 127 boards, including digitisers and arbitrary waveform generators

Ultra-fast sampling board runs up to 125Mbit/s
The UF.7021 is a full-length PCI board with 64 digital input or output channels that can simultaneously capture and replay signals at a maximum sample rate of 125Mbit/s.
These features allow the creation of large mixed-mode automated test systems for electronic subassemblies and digital semiconductor components.
There are four new boards in the UF2e-7000 series: the UF2e-7010 provides 125MHz on 16 channels; the UF2e-7011 offers 125MHz on 16bit or 60MHz on 32 channels; the UF2e-7020 provides 125MHz on 32 channels; and the UF2e-7021 offers 125MHz on 32bit or 60MHz on 64 channels.
The digital I/O channels can be software selected for input or output in 16-channel increments.
The UF2e-7020 and UF2e-7021 are also able to record and replay simultaneously.
All inputs and outputs are TTL compatible.
External clock and trigger connectors are provided.
A wide variety of bit and pattern trigger conditions can be set.
The standard boards are supplied with 64Mbyte of onboard memory.
This can be expanded to 4Gbyte for the longest recording and replay times, even at the maximum clock rates.
At slower clock rates data can be streamed to or from the host PC.
An unusual feature is that the board can be equipped with a second user-selected quartz crystal oscillator for applications that require a highly accurate specific output rate.
Strategic Test provides the industry's most comprehensive software support with a wide range of software development kits.
Prices start at US $3390.
All UltraFast boards are supplied with the free SBench software that allows users to record or replay digital waveforms without programming.
SBench is available for both Windows and Linux.
