PCI Express oscilloscope/digitiser card has eight 25Msample/s 12bit ADCs for simultaneous sampling without time-skew errors.

New from Strategic Test Corp, the UF2e-3132 is a PCI Express oscilloscope/digitiser card with eight 25Msample/s 12bit ADCs for simultaneous sampling without time-skew errors and up to 2Gsample of onboard memory Streaming to a host PC is supported to the maximum transfer rate of the PCI Express x1 bus

SDK's for Microsoft Windows Vista, XP64, XP and Linux (RedHat, Fedora, SuSe, Sarge) and the SBench 5.3 oscilloscope program are supplied with the card.

SDKs for LabView, Matlab, Agilent-VEE, DasyLab and LabWindows/CVI are available as options.

Key specifications include: an effective number of bits of 10.1, a signal-to-noise ratio better than 62.5dB, total harmonic distortion less than -61.0dB and -3dB bandwidth of better than 12.5MHz.

Each channel has a software-programmable amplifier allowing input ranges of +/-50mV to +/-10V.

The UF2e-3132 offers a wide range of triggering possibilities, including level, window, pulsewidth, re-arm and double triggers, or an external TTL trigger input.

Trigger conditions can be set on multiple cards or systems combined with and/or logic, a feature often used in production test.

Like all UltraFast boards, the UF2e-3132 scope card can be customised with hardware options such as: onboard memory up to 2048Msample; multiple recording with memory segmentation; gated sampling with the output clock controlled by an external TTL signal; timebase records for time of trigger events or gates; ABA mode for slow-fast-slow recording on trigger; Star Hub for synchronisation of up to 16 boards or up to 16 PCs to a maximum or 271 boards; and BaseXIO, which adds eight asynchronous digital I/O lines.
