Surface technology systems appoints Dr Robin Johnson as Chief Operating Officer
Surface Technology Systems (STS) has announced the appointment of Dr Robin Johnson as its interim Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately Since returning from North America in 2000, where he was President of a component manufacturing company, Dr Johnson has overseen change management within businesses seeking rapid deployment of their technology to the market place

Commenting on his appointment by STS, Dr Johnson commented: "The time between research and volume production is getting shorter and shorter for both STS and our customers".

Throughout his career Dr Johnson has demonstrated multiple successes in delivering innovative products to companies such as Intel, Dell and IBM.
Gaining his PhD from the University of East Anglia in Solid State Physics he then went on to complete an MBA from Kingston Business School specialising in International Business and Management of Innovation.
"We are delighted that Robin has joined the senior management team at STS," added STS CEO John Saunders.
"His impressive track record at creating productive, efficient companies makes him a strong addition to our team".
