Potentia signs for European coverage
Potentia Semiconductor has signed a pan-European representative agreement with the UK based Spectrum Electronics Group.
Power management specialist Potentia Semiconductor has signed a pan-European representative agreement with the UK based Spectrum Electronics Group of independent sales, marketing and operations (ISMO) organisations The deal involves nine Spectrum Group members and covers the Benelux countries, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Baltic states, the Nordic countries, Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Spain and the UK and Ireland

"Intuitive software together with the 'point-and-click' Powercentre Designer environments enables engineers to configure the silicon to precisely control overvoltage and undervoltage levels, startup and shutdown thresholds, sequencing delay and trim values in their own choice of DC/DC power convertors".
Announcing the Spectrum appointment, Ian McGill, Potentia's VP Business Development and Marketing expressed his enthusiasm for partnering with the Spectrum Group, and supplying leading edge power management solutions to OEM customers throughout Europe: "Spectrum's ISMO business model has exhibited remarkable success in creating demand for proprietary semiconductor solutions in all key and emerging European markets".
