Adtron has released the first commercially available 2.5in Serial ATA (SATA) Flash drive for defence, aerospace, commercial aviation and industrial applications.
The new software solution fully addresses the three essential components of a DSL system: datapath software (DPS); an application interface; and control plane code.
Wintegra's DPS is production worthy, field-hardened code that has been shipping in volume for over three years.
Also in full production for three years, Wintegra's application interface is a C-level calling structure known as WDDI (WinPath device driver interface), which provides a highly flexible window into the hardware and software internals of Wintegra's WinPath silicon.
"The addition of WLS, the feature-rich DSL control plane code, means that Wintegra is able to offer a turnkey package comprising state-of-the-art hardware and software that provides superior system performance and accelerated time to market", added Maartensz.
