Serial ATA Flash drives meet military specs
Adtron has released the first commercially available 2.5in Serial ATA (SATA) Flash drive for defence, aerospace, commercial aviation and industrial applications.
At 12MHz, the F230 requires only 7mA of input current during full operation and only 5uA of power during standby operation, making it one of the most power-efficient devices in its class.
It offers a frequency range of 0.84 to 75MHz with a frequency stability of +/-100ppm.
Designed for use in portable and space- constrained devices such as laptop computers, PDAs, phone handsets, DVD players, MP3 players, video and digital cameras, as well as PCMCIA cards, the F230 operates in the temperature range -20 to +70C.
Long-term aging is +/-5ppm per year.
Other tolerances, stabilities and operating temperature ranges are also available.
Pricing for an F230-27MHz crystal oscillator is $1.74 in quantities of 1000.
Delivery is eight to ten weeks ARO.
