Ismosys will represent Accelerated Designs in European territories and handle the distribution of its products, particularly its Ultra Librarian EDA library tool, online globally.

Spectrum Electronics' web-portal, Ismosys.com has concluded a distribution agreement with Accelerated Designs, a one-stop source of data for computer-aided design (CAD), simulation, 3D modelling and other engineering functions.

The terms of the agreement grants Ismosys rights to represent Accelerated Designs in European territories and handle the distribution of its products, particularly its Ultra Librarian EDA library tool, online globally.

Welcoming Accelerated Designs as an Ismosys partner Nigel Bond, Business Development Manager said that as a 'one-stop' source of CAD data that customers can speedily customise to their own requirements and those of their customers, Accelerated Designs is able to fulfil a critical need for Ismosys users and partners: "ADI has an existing library of 500,000 electronic design automation CAD parts that can be quickly and easily ported to complement any existing CAD tool, and its Ultra Librarian library tool is simply the fastest, most accurate EDA library tool available for the creation and maintenance of an EDA library".

According to Accelerated Designs President Frank Frank, the strong reputation that the Spectrum Group has established throughout Europe, together with its unique online distribution strategy will make a very positive contribution to Accelerated Designs' ambitious growth plans: "This appointment is a huge step forward in getting our products out to the global marketplace".

"We are extremely excited to have operation such as Spectrum and Ismosys.com promoting and selling our products in Europe and online", said Frank.
