Direct mounting creates low-profile ECC SDRAMs
New from the Swissbit Group, the Helios is a low-profile ECC SDRAM module based on the latest chip-on-board technology.
The 144-pin SDRAM modules are available in speed grades from PC100 to PC333, all running from a 3.3V supply voltage.
Mars modules are compatible with Intel SO-DIMM specifications and their I/Os are LVTTL compatible.
A refresh occurs every 64ms.
The integration of 1Gbyte into a SO-DIMM with an installation height of 32mm is a technological advantage offered by Swissbit's COB technology.
The memory chips, all produced by renowned suppliers, are directly stacked to the PCB.
This ensures optimal heat abstraction by the PCB, better circulation of air and an excellent signal quality.
After production the completed modules undergo numerous quality tests.
So they are also suitable for industrial and medical applications, even in extended temperature ranges.
The new high performance memory module is now available in retail stores as well as in the Swissbit online shop.
