This document standardises methods for packing, shipping and handling moisture sensitive surface mount devices to ensure that they arrive at customers moisture-free, static safe and ready to use.
Accordingly, the requirement for moisture barrier bags, bag labelling, humidity indicator cards and desiccant loading has been established.
Static Control Components' Dri-Shield system meets or exceeds each of these requirements.
It includes the Dri-Shield 3000 moisture barrier bag, with static shielding, HIC humidity indicator cards, moisture sensitive caution labels and desiccant packed in Kraft or Tyvek pouches.
