Static Control Components has introduced a low-cost static control wrist strap that enables users to comply with ESD control requirements when working on sensitive electronics components and assemblies Used as the first line of ESD protection, the adjustable strap provides 360-degree conductive contact around the wearer's wrist and has been designed for comfort, being made from OptiSoft, an extra soft fabric with a wide weave that allows the skin to breathe

The integral hypoallergenic silver-plated band has only 85ohm resistance and the cord strain relief will survive over one million flexes.

The strap is available with a variety of grounding cords, including 1.8 and 3.6m coiled, and snap stud sizes are 4, 7 or 10mm.

Snap-to-banana post or snap-to-snap configurations are also offered, and the banana post is a spinning type to prevent cord tangles.
