Static Control Components has developed a system to help companies packaging surface mount electronics devices meet the requirements of the new joint IPC/JEDEC Standard J-STD-033.
Featuring dissipative inner and outer surfaces the bag is made of static dissipative polymer, aluminium foil, and static dissipative polyethylene and provides an extremely low moisture vapour transmission rate (MVTR) thus giving maximum moisture protection to surface mount devices.
It meets the requirements of IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033 and also provides full protection from ESD, static fields and tribocharging.
JEDEC 113 moisture level labels can be pre-applied to the bag and it is also printed with ESD and moisture symbols.

Amine free, it additionally passes out-gassing and corrosion tests.
All bags are date and lot coded for trace ability.
