A new day and night board camera, fully compatible with the entire range of Pecan CCTV cameras and components, is now available from Stortech Electronics.

Designed to deliver simple, cost-effective integration and upgrade with existing Pecan systems, the miniature camera provides superior performance in variable light conditions, and is perfectly suited to mini-dome, covert surveillance and specialist applications.

Measuring just 42 x 42mm, Stortech's VPC 795 DN PCB camera is ideal for size-critical applications and provides extremely high-quality images in changeable light conditions.

Incorporating a miniature automatic IR cut filter, the camera delivers near-perfect colour images in daylight, but automatically switches to high sensitivity mono images when illumination levels drop, down to a minimum 0.01 lux.

Compatible with all Pecan covert products, observation systems, discreet, housed and vandal resistant cameras, the VPC 795 DN is fitted with an IR-sensitive Sony Ex-view CCD chip and provides digital zoom at up to four times original size.

The camera offers RS232C/TTL connection, with additional software available for customisation of camera settings.

Featuring Y/C output, external sync and digital PTZ, the VPC 795 DN weighs just 37g, supports a resolution of 752 (horizontal) by 582 (vertical) pixels, and requires a 12V DC power supply with operating temperature of between -5 and +40C.
