Stortech has been awarded Stannah Stairlift's Supplier Excellence award for its outstanding service to the company during 2002.

Stortech has been awarded Stannah Stairlift's Supplier Excellence award for its outstanding service to the company during 2002 Stannah originally chose Stortech as its supplier for stairlift batteries in 1998

Since then, Stortech has become an integral part of Stannah's supply chain network providing the company with batteries and cableform assemblies.

Stortech source the components from China and manage the logistics to ensure that Stannah receives just-in-time deliveries each week.

"Stortech's delivery performance has been faultless and they have delivered cost reductions pro-actively", said Denise Munday, Supplier Account Manager at Stannah Stairlifts.

"Stortech's direct involvement with product redesign has delivered significant improvements in quality and reliability.

Stortech's service and technical support has been second-to-none, and we felt their dedication should be acknowledged".

Stannah Stairlifts was originally established in the 1860's by Joseph Stannah and is now one of the UK's most successful lift manufacturers employing a workforce of over 1000 and with a turnover of around GBP 70 million.

Still a family owned company, Stannah is market leader in the manufacture of hydraulic passenger lifts, microlift service lifts, access platform lifts, goods only lifts and its world famous stairlifts.
