New from STI Automation Products Group is the easy-to-install US32 range of self-contained ultrasonic sensors These reliable ultrasonic sensors provide a sensing range from 0.3 to 10m, work on solids or liquids and feature analogue, digital and trip-point outputs

Additionally, they are user adjustable and serial interface programmable with free software for Windows, DOS or Palm operating systems.

STI's AutoSense software and internal temperature compensation factor in and eliminate variables such as ambient temperature, waves on a liquid, tank irregularities, agitators and humidity.

This allows for incredibly accurate flow, presence, level, volume, proximity and distance measurements in a variety of applications.

US32 ultrasonic sensors are not affected by target surface, colour or translucency, and they function extremely well in harsh environments.

When monitoring liquids, they are not affected by changes in dielectric constant, specific gravity, or viscosity.
