Chests provide rugged and low-cost
housings
All-steel fully welded equipment chests are designed to provide a rugged and low-cost portable housing at a fraction of the price of a standard instrument rack.
The Strongbox range of all-steel fully welded equipment chests are designed to provide a rugged and low-cost portable housing at a fraction of the price of a standard instrument rack All chests in this new Strongbox range are 555mm wide and are either 550 or 350mm deep
The 550mm deep version is supplied in heights of 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21 or 24U, and the smaller unit is available in 6, 9 or 12U.
The sides and top of the enclosure are fixed and the rear panel is divided into two halves that can be adjusted and cut to optimise cable access.
They are offered with a choice of three doors: glazed, plain steel or perforated steel to improve ventilation.
Carrying handles are incorporated into the sides of the chests making them easily portable and ideal for small AV systems, background music systems and other applications where space is limited.
