Fibre-coupled laser promises pure output

A Stockeryale product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Aug 29, 2008

Temperature-stabilised laser features a single-mode optical fibre delivery system and provides exceptional power stability and low noise at the fibre exit.

StockerYale's PureBeam laser is a temperature-stabilised fibre-coupled device intended for bioinstrumentation applications, including flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, biodetection, DNA sequencing as well as other high-end applications.

It features a single-mode optical fibre delivery system and provides exceptional power stability and low noise at the fibre exit.

Available wavelengths are between 375 and 830nm.

For uniform flat-top illumination, the PureBeam laser can be seamlessly integrated with the StockerYale Flat-Top Generator, an innovative refractive beam shaper that converts a Gaussian beam to flat-top with almost no optical loss.
