While the basic desktop Cubic has a tip-up foot feature built into the static feet of the enclosure, SRS Products has identified a requirement for the structure of the enclosure to be angled, to meet the needs of housing monitors and displays, such that the housing is positioned and fixed in a permanent position.
Applications such as CCTV, where a visual monitoring process is required, make the ergonomic feature essential.
Combining the modularity of the basic Cubic design, SRS Products has introduced a range of desktop enclosures that have a 10-degree angle of display.
Sizes include 7 and 10U heights, 19in useable width, and 400 and 500mm overall depths.
With these dimensions, the enclosure can be used on a stand-alone basis or housed above a standard rectangular Cubic enclosure to provide the required height plus additional enclosure space for the electronics below.
