Sunrise Electronics has a comprehensive choice of microcontrollers suitable for a wide range of applications from low to high end with true scaleability and software re-useability across the range.

These families have been developed to meet designers' needs for fast turn around times and reduced system costs.

NEC's K_Line is a general-purpose product line of 8 and 32bit microcontrollers for all kinds of industrial, automotive, telecommunication and consumer applications.

The range includes devices with 2 to 256Kbyte ROM and 128byte to 16Kbyte RAM housed in a broad range of 20- to 144-pin packages.

For applications demanding a large amount of on-chip memory, NEC's S_Line delivers high memory densities (up to 1Mbyte Flash and 60Kbyte RAM) and offers high performance with a maximum clock frequency of 32MHz.

Available with or without built-in CAN interface, these devices are suitable for any memory-hungry embedded applications and have found favour with designers of automotive systems such as in-car audio.

Even more targeted to automotive applications for in-car systems, body electronics and accessories, the F_Line series again offers a choice of 8 and 32bit controllers with from one to four onboard CAN interfaces.

Packaging options from 44- to 144-pin outlines enables an appropriate device to be chosen for a wide range of applications.

Additional devices in the K_Line family are expected soon, featuring single-voltage Flash memory technology, on-chip debug capability and a broader range of Flash memory and package options.
