Award recognises colour LCD support

Sunrise Electronics has just won a prestigious European award from NEC Electronics for Best Performing Colour LCD Distributor of 2006.

Sunrise Electronics has just won a prestigious European award from NEC Electronics for Best Performing Colour LCD Distributor of 2006.

The award recognised the success of Sunrise in supporting its customers in their designs and was based on careful measurement of design achievements and new customer development.

Justin Coleman, Product Manager for Sunrise said that the NEC range of colour LCDs had long been acknowledged as a technology leader.

"The recent addition of daylight viewable screens has added extra stimulus in the past year, helping to attract new customers and making new applications possible for colour LCD solutions", he said.

"NEC is already recognised for image quality and now the expansion of the daylight viewable products range gives them the most comprehensive product lineup in the industrial market".

Tony Champaneri, European Distribution Manager for NEC, said he was delighted the award went to Sunrise as it recognised their excellent business creation activity for NEC displays.
