Summit Microelectronics has a distributed power hot-swap controller for use in communications equipment add-in line cards.

Rick's 25 years in analogue and power semiconductors gives him the ability to apply our programmable mixed-signal technology to today's increasingly complex power management market needs and to continue our accelerating rate of product innovation and market expansion", said Berghoff.
Before its acquisition by Agilent Corporation, Davies was CEO of Pixel Devices, a high-performance imager chip startup.
In prior positions, Dr Davies was Vice-President of Operations at Power Integrations; held roles as Senior Vice-President of Marketing and of Operations at International Rectifier; and was Manager of Texas Instruments' Standard Linear Products Department.
He holds PhD and MS degrees in electrical engineering from Stanford University in addition to BSEE and MBA degrees.
