Sunpower has added two new special product series to its AC/DC product line from Mean Well Enterprises - the CLG-100 and PLN-100 series.
With a 12, 24, 36 or 48V main output channel with up to 175% of high peak load capability and 5V/5A for logic control usage, the PID-250 series are ideal for motor-based machinery or equipment that can be widely used in automation, test equipment, POS system, franking machine, banking machine, printer or plotter etc.
The isolated design between the two outputs can significantly prevent noise sourcing of motor action from entering control circuits and hence secure accurate operation of the end equipment.
There is also a special overload characteristic that if the main output goes into overload or malfunctions, the secondary (5V) will still operate properly, ensuring that the system microprocessor will shut down the equipment safely.
Other standard functions include remote control for the main output and short circuit, overload, overvoltage and overtemperature protection.
An optional L-bracket and cover (total dimensions 250 x 105.4 x 53mm) provide more alternatives to system configuration or solve mounting constraint issues.
