Miniature power supply is smallest yet

The RS-15 are Sunpower's smallest AC/DC enclosed type switching power supplies that can provide 15W using only free air convection.

Sunpower UK has added a new 15W single-output unit to its extensive miniature power supply range.

The new RS-15 Series are 20% smaller than their 20W counterparts, measuring a mere 62.5 x 51 x 28mm.

The RS-15 are Sunpower's smallest AC/DC enclosed type switching power supplies that can provide 15W by only free air convection.

RS-15 is fully RoHS compliant and all the electrolytic capacitors in the unit are rated to +105C.

The RS-15 can also withstand 300V AC input surge for 5s and 5g vibration, meaning that is suitable for operation in harsh environments.

Full output wattage can be provided up to 50C, and operation extends to 70C with certain derating.

Other standard functions include short circuit, overload, overvoltage and overtemperature protection.

Suitable application includes general electronic machinery or equipment, automation, test equipment, small scale LED signs etc that have constrained installation space.
