Qualification paves the way for military
contracts
Sunburst Electronics has become a J-STD-001 facility - permitting the company to expand services to the military and other high-reliability electronics markets.
Contract manufacturer Sunburst Electronics has recently fulfilled requirements to become a J-STD-001 facility - permitting the company to expand services to the military and other high-reliability electronics markets (aerospace, medical equipment and telecommunications) An internationally recognised credential and industry standard, J-STD-001 (Requirements for soldered electrical and electronic assemblies) is being referenced on many high-reliability US Department of Defense contracts and is often required for manufacturing electronic controls with (expected) minimal failure rates and field lifetimes of ten to 25 years
