Sirena's integrated LED range of light towers and beacons enables users to install and use LED technology at a more economic rate than using standard LED replacement "bulbs".

Sirena's integrated LED range of light towers and beacons enables users to install and use LED technology at a more economic rate than using standard LED replacement "bulbs".

By integrating the LED device into the unit rather than as a retrofit LED bulb, the price of the towers and beacons has been reduced by up to 50%.

Additionally, the light emitted from the units exhibits much better dispersion characteristics, and is notably brighter from a wider range of viewing angles.

A four-year guarantee backs up the long life claim for the units that range from 50 to 100kh.

LEDs offer energy savings over filament bulbs, and as a low current device they can be controlled directly from a PLC or computer.

LEDs are also much more resilient to shock than filament bulbs, and are particularly suitable for use where high levels of vibration are present such as in many manufacturing processes.

The integrated LED units are a good choice where access is limited or difficult and/or dangerous, as maintenance due to bulb changes is avoided.

Factors driving the demand for these types of products are the need for long life, low maintenance, reduced energy consumption, and higher visibility light towers and beacons.

Sirena's integrated light towers and beacons from Switchtec will find favour with manufacturers of industrial machines, refitters and security firms, and in production line signalling applications.

Offering long life and vastly improved dispersion characteristics, the units are market-leading products in their field.
