The PowerQor Peta series of quarter-brick DC/DC convertors is now available with output voltages of 1.0, 1.2, 1.5 and 1.8V in addition to the previously announced 3.3V.

SynQor has introduced a 40A quarter-brick-sized isolated DC/DC convertor.
The Peta series convertors use synchronous rectification and SynQor's patented topology to achieve extremely high efficiency, low power dissipation and greater reliability, in a single board, open-frame package.
The module's power handling capability is such that for the 1.2V output device for example, there is no derating of the maximum 60A output required even at 55C ambient temperature and with no forced air cooling.
All units operate from a standard 48V input (35V to 75V) and employ the established industry standard quarter-brick footprint, measuring 61 x 58.4 x 11.4mm.
Two different pinout designs are offered, allowing the customer to either follow the recently announced DOSA standard double output pin configuration for high current quarter bricks, or the more traditional single output pin configuration to allow for design flexibility.
Control and protection features include, remote sense, voltage trim, input undervoltage lockout, output overvoltage protection, current limit, short circuit and thermal shutdown.
The 60A Peta series extends SynQor's award-winning line of Kilo, Mega, Giga and Tera half-brick, quarter-brick and eighth-brick modules to offer the most extensive choice of high-efficiency convertors from 15 to 100A to suit any power application.
The high current Peta quarter-brick modules are ideal for telecomms and datacomms applications using distributed power architectures.
