60W dual-output convertor needs no heatsink
DualQor dual-output industry-standard quarter-brick-sized isolated DC/DC convertors from SynQor are capable of delivering up to 60W at 5 and 3.3V, with no need for an attached heatsink.
Convertor produces 40A from a quarter brick
SynQor has introduced a 40A quarter-brick-sized isolated DC/DC convertor.
Reducing output noise by as much as 75% and providing up to 5% improved efficiency, the NQ10W50PKA07 series sets a new standard in high performance, nonisolated DC/DC convertors.
These convertors have a 10.2-13.2V input voltage range and a 0.75-5.0V output voltage range.
The modules are up to 94% efficient and can supply the full rated output of 7.0A up to 85C with just 0.5m/s of airflow.
Excellent thermal performance, minimal power dissipation, and a low profile height of less than 6mm makes the NQ10W50PKA07 ideal for environments with low airflow and strict power requirements.
In addition, the small footprint of 10.2 x 22.9mm enables increased layout and design flexibility.
The NQ10 is available in four different variations, allowing the customer to choose the version most optimised for their application.
These versions include a discontinuous mode to achieve high conversion efficiency at both low and high output voltages, or a forced continuous mode to achieve an extremely fast transient response and low output voltage ripple.
Both modes have an option to use an internal reference point, which provides +/-5% margining using digital input signals, or an external reference point, which allows custom voltages to be set using an external reference voltage.
Standard control and protection features include on/off control positive logic, input UVLO, remote sense, foldback current limit and short circuit protection, and thermal shutdown.
Sample and production quantities are available immediately with a stock to 8-week lead-time.
The modules are priced at $14.60 in OEM quantities. Request a free brochure from SynQor Europe ...
