Quarter bricks have flexible single
outputs

Convertor produces 40A from a quarter brick
SynQor has introduced a 40A quarter-brick-sized isolated DC/DC convertor.
Single-output configurations of 1.8V/40A, 3.3V/30A, 5V/24A, 7V/17A, 12V/10A, 15V/8A, 24V/5A, 30V/4A and 48V/2.5A are available.
However, thanks to the wide output voltage trim range of +10/-20%, a variety of different voltages can actually be provided between 1.45 and 53V.
And the basic-grade galvanic isolation between input and output of 2250V DC means the modules can be configured to supply either a positive or negative output, or can be wired in series to create higher output voltages.
The devices are available in one of three mechanical configurations: open frame for convection-cooled applications; with an attached baseplate for conduction-cooled applications; and fully encapsulated for harsh environment applications.
The encapsulated option brings the additional benefit of having reinforced-grade isolation from input to output.
The IQ24-QTA series is capable of withstanding transients on the input up to 50V for 100ms.
Calculated MTBF figures are in excess of 2Mh, and all units are fully 6/6 RoHS compliant.
Further control and protection features include remote sense, input undervoltage lockout, output OVP, current limit, short circuit protection and thermal shutdown.
Operating temperature range is -40 to +100C.
