Website stars in distribution awards

SemiconductorStore.com won the Gold Achievement Award for Best Website at this year's NEDA Conference in Chicago.

SemiconductorStore.com was awarded the Gold Achievement Award for Best Website at this year's NEDA Conference in Chicago.

In its first year of eligibility for the honour, SemiconductorStore stood out from the competition with its wealth of product information, distinctive appearance and ease of use.

"The Gold Award comes at a great time for us", said Richard Judy, Web Marketing Manager for SemiconductorStore.

"Right now, we're working hard to expand SemiconductorStore to make it possible for us to help more people than ever before and this recognition from NEDA will give us the opportunity to do just that".

SemiconductorStore burst onto the scene a little more than a year ago and immediately established itself within the industry by focusing on getting new and emerging technology products and information into the hands of design engineers.

In the coming months, customers and visitors to SemiconductorStore.com can expect to see them double their efforts to continue to deliver exciting products from great lines as well as streamlining their online purchasing process to more effectively service the purchasing community, whose needs often differ from those or design engineers.

NEDA, the National Electronics Distributors Association, is a nonprofit trade organisation that represents and support companies involved in the supplier authorised distribution of electronic components and parts, computer and computer peripheral components and test, measurement and control equipment.

Each year, NEDA recognises the outstanding efforts of some of these companies in the areas of print advertising, direct mail, newsletters, company brochures, websites and other categories.

During the same ceremony that saw SemiconductorStore take Best Website honours, the association recognised the parent company of SemiconductorStore.com, Symmetry Electronics, by giving it the annual Industry Advocate Award.
