SemiconductorStore.com has signed an agreement to add ZMD, a leader in mixed-signal ASICs and ASSPs, to the growing list of suppliers that it promotes and sells online.

Under the terms of the agreement, SemiconductorStore.com is authorised to promote and sell the complete family of ZMD products, including ZigBee transceivers, signal conditioning sensor ICs, AS-Interface (AS-i) bus systems, temperature sensors, SRAM and NVSRAM and more.

"ZMD is a great line to add to SemiconductorStore.com because of their broad offering of quality mixed-signal products", said Richard Judy, Web Marketing Manager of SemiconductorStore.

"We're especially excited about the addition of their ZigBee transceivers and development kits, which round out our selection of wireless products nicely".

In the past few years, ZMD has developed its international reputation as a manufacturer of application-specific integrated circuit products (ASIC/ASSP).

ZMD's innovative products are used in automotive and industrial electronics; medical devices; and infrared data transmission applications such as mobile telephones and remote controls.

The company has successfully specialised in the design, manufacture and distribution of high-performance, mixed analogue-digital application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) as well as application-specific standard products (ASSPs) with low power consumption.

Recently, ZMD America has announced availability of a temperature sensor integrated circuit (TSic).

The plug-and-play TSic Labkit enables designers to evaluate up to four TSic sensors at one time.

Produced by ZMD's technology partner IST, the TSic Labkit makes development of temperature sensing applications fast and efficient by allowing simultaneous display and evaluation of four signals: data, minimum, maximum, and average.

Data can also be recorded in a text file that can be imported by other applications, such as Microsoft Excel software.
